Step-By-Step Instructions
- Marrying Invoices:
- Invoices can be married as long as the original invoice has the total amount of cases to receive family plan pricing. Ex: 5 case Family Plan= 5 cases.
- No marrying of coop invoices – meaning you cannot marry an invoice that received the family plan price due to the coop.
- Invoice A has to have minimum of 5 cases (5 case FP) to marry invoice B. Invoice B has to make the minimum delivery to marry invoice B to Invoice A.
- Can Marry against Invoice A multiple times within 14 days as long as invoice A meets the family plan requirement of 5 cases to get the 5 case family plan.
within 14 days, marrying requests that occur cross month credit must first confirm no change in pricing. if none then ok to proceed.
If the back order is to marry with an already shipped sales order to get the best case price, the original sales order should always ship out at the correct price for the quantity shipped and when stock arrives the back order goes out at discounted price and orders will alert credit that the customer took the balance of the order to get the deeper discount.
Credit will then credit the original sales order to reflect the discounted price.
We never ship original order at discounted price to ensure they take the back order to marry and get the discount
- Items NOT on Family Plan:
- Business Central will not calculate the item as part of the case count if the family plan box is not checked on the item card.
- TEW will give family plan pricing for the total case count but there will be no price adjustment on the item being excluded. This has to be manually updated by the orders team. NJ Sales Reps will have to send an email request to Orders to make the adjustment.
- Loose Bottles:
- If an item has bottles due to last of vintage or last of stock- it can count as one case toward the 5 case family plan and update to the 5 case price. Order must make the minimum.
- Marrying Invoices:
- Invoices can be married within 14 days within the same month as long as the original invoice has the total amount of cases to receive family plan pricing.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
All Prices are entered and programmed in Business Central.
Pricing should not be entered manually. (There are exceptions, please speak to a manager)
Prices and price discounts are price posted by state and we must be compliant and charge according to it.
ALL co-op orders MUST be released on the same day with the same invoice date. Western will deliver their order on the next available delivery day. So if you release a co-op on Monday, the Tu & Th customers will get their order on Tuesday. The W & F customers will get their order on Wednesday. This is how it must be done. Please make sure this does not cross over months.
