We need to be able to collect on the sale.
All hand deliveries must be posted for delinquency if it remains unpaid by the due date. There are no exceptions.
We must be compliant.
There should not be an hand deliveries from previous months open.
Please coordinate with each other.
- To Check Hand Delivery Location:
- Go to Inventory Valuation
- As of Date: Put date you are running.
- Location Filter: HAND DELIVERY
- ONCE REPORT POPULATES YOU HAVE TO GO TO EACH ITEM CARD TO DETERMINE WHICH REP HAS THE CASES ON HAND.
- Click on Item
- Related - History - Entries - Ledger Entries
- Filter on Location Code - Hand Delivery
- You will then be able to see the rep and customer the entry is tied too. Contact rep to see if he/she indeed has the product on hand.
- If they state they used the product, but it is still on our HD inventory we would have to notify Lisa. Reps are supposed to let orders know when they are using product on Hand. We need to keep track of where the product went so if they Hand Delivery to another customer that means they were not billed for it.
Hand Deliveries
Hand delivery invoices must be created with the date of delivery by the Orders Team. Update the location of the invoice according to where the rep is delivering the product to. Update the shipping method and shipping agent to “Rep”. They should have two copies with them when delivering to the customer. One for the customer and a signed copy of receipt for our office records to return to the operations team. Sales reps should not make any adjustments to these orders.
Order must be posted by end of day. Proof of delivery to be uploaded onto the posted order once signed copy is received from the rep.
Proof of Delivery to be saved to the DocXtender.
Borrowing:
When a rep is borrowing from one customer to bring to another. Sales rep will need to request a credit from the credit dept to give to the customer at the time of pick up. A hand delivery invoice must be created by the orders team. On both documents the name of the TEW rep delivering must be present on both the credit and the sales invoice. Credit and Orders must coordinate with Sales rep. Sales rep must send the credit dept the signed POD. A clear scanned copy for record. Both credit and invoice are posted for the date of delivery and the invoice is not posted until the signed POD is saved to the zeta. Credit must follow up with the reps that make handle deliveries for the signed POD.
