SOP Overview
Step-By-Step Instructions
- Customer places a request for a D.I. with their salesperson.
- **IMPORTANT: Credit Approval is required by CFO in order to proceed with any D.I. sale.
- If approval is granted, Salesperson will proceed to reach out to the Portfolio Manager to discuss the request.
- Portfolio Manager will then loop in the Purchasing Dept to create a purchase order using the DI location code to submit to the winery or distillery.
- Once the winery or distillery confirms the purchase order has shipped, Portfolio Manager and Purchasing submits the Customer PO to the Orders Team to create the Sales Order using the DI location code and post the sale once it is confirmed the customer has received the order. A freight BOL is shared to confirm this.
