Reasons for an A-ticket:
- Western picked and delivered the wrong item -no charge to TEW -must be completed if the customer received a case discount
- Breakage/damage upon delivery -no charge to TEW- must be completed if the customer received a case discount

Step-By-Step Instructions
- Western Carriers will send T Edward an email notification to the Orders Team that there was breakage/damage or the wrong item upon delivery
- Orders Team will have to notify sales rep and ask customer to accept the A Ticket Sales Order delivery to fulfill the original order. Always loop in Credit when informing the reps. Either for credit on broken bottle or to note for a van return/A ticket.
- Customer must receive A-Ticket order if the discounted case price was based on a Case Discount
- If the Customer chooses not to complete the order, Orders Team must communicate to Credit Department to adjust the pricing to reflect the correct price per case at the higher price
- If customer chooses to complete the order**Orders must create A-ticket on a new sales order for the next delivery day and match the discounted price received on the posted sales invoice.
- Post immediately. Make sure this does not transmit on the merge. **
- Send A ticket confirmation to the rep - including T Edward A ticket invoice along with Western’s confirmation.
- Once the A-ticket order has been received by the customer in full, Credit team will credit the A-ticketed item from the original posted sales order to correct the books and match inventory with Western Carrier when the van return is received, no sooner.
REMINDER
When we send an A-Ticket and create the A ticket Sales Order, it is really important you are billing it at the price on the original order. It is also important to send the customer the A ticket invoice, because WC sends it on a BOL. We need to ensure we get paid.
